Should the government have the right to change the lifestyle or culture of a person?

No, I think the government should not  have a right to change culture and the lifestyle of a person because some cultures have traditions to carry on like their ancestors did. the things that are being violated is the government wants everything there way and does not care about anyone else but themselves and are trying to change people to be american rather than being their own culture .
